Answer: Generally the spa should have a supportive, level base to sit on. We recommend a 4 inch concrete slab, or a well-constructed, supportive wooded deck. If either of these options are not available you can purchase a pre-fabricated resin spa pad that comes in 
6 pieces and is designed to support the weight of a spa. 
The portable spa pads sells for approx $300 and can be purchased from your local spa dealer.
